Welcome to the day’s Inkspark! Every day, around midnight PST, we provide you with a prompt or picture to spark your creativity for the day. Feel free to post and/or discuss what the day’s Inkspark leads to in the comments. Happy writing!
Today’s Prompt: More music! Just as with yesterday’s Inkspark, listen to this as you write. Let the piece’s emotion resonate with you. If you’re not into classical music, that’s fine; the same concept applies to most other music, although instrumental is generally a better option so that you don’t have another person’s words filling your head. It would be fun to see what such emotional music produces in different writers, so please don’t hesitate to tell us what emotions this produced in the comments.
Piece: Concerto for Violin and Orchestra Op. 64 in E Minor: I. Allegro molto appassionato
Composer: Felix Mendelssohn
