Inkspark #36: GIVEAWAY!

Today, since thirty-six is a number I enjoy, we’re going to have a giveaway. The winner receives a detailed critique of six pages (because thirty-six is six squared), single-spaced, pt. 12 font, of any work they wish. If this works nicely, we’ll have more giveaways in the future, and for even longer works!

Click here to go to the giveaway since WordPress hates me and won’t post the widget.

The critique is of any six pages you choose. This seems short, but we’re hoping to do giveaways like this at least twice a month, so there will be plenty of opportunities to get even more feedback. This length should be enough to account for an entire first chapter. I’m willing to negotiate if your first chapter is longer and you really want input on whether or not it’s engaging. I’m fine going a page or two over six for first chapters and short works. Same goes for if you have two really short chapters that add up to about seven or eight pages.

As for today’s prompt: Write about winning a contest. It can be a Hunger Games-like contest or a simple giveaway. Get creative.

leaving a comment for the giveaway :)

  2. 36 love not being the only number person. :)

  3. This is so cool! :D Yay! Where do you get the widget from? I think I might want to do something like this on my own blog.

    • Oh and I think I would also like part of Night Lies critiqued.

    • The website where the giveaway is hosted also hosts the widget. WordPress doesn’t let free users post Java coding. I think Blogspot lets you post Java, though.

  4. What a great giveaway!!
